Adventure Part 3: The Storm
There was a time where my wife and Sable were attempting to get along well, but I believe the reality of the situation began to hit my wife, when she realized that she had ignored, neglected and tossed aside a good person. We had worked on some arrangements, and even discussed the possibility of my wife living in the in-law apartment, or figuring out some option to allow her to maintain a residence in the home. Eventually my wife decided to move out of the house, a day before our 12th wedding anniversary.
My Citizenship Oath Ceremony was a couple weeks later. I was nervous, but then again, I was still married, so the technical aspects of everything worked out. Sable joined me at the ceremony, and was very nervous. More so than I. I believe it was because it was the first time she'd been to a big important function. Plus, it really was quite serious and important. But we got through it, and it was a great feeling of relief to finally be an American Citizen. God I was happy and proud.
October was a rough month however. Not only were those factors already mentioned to deal with, but on top of all of this, Sable had opened up a spiritual portal in the basement accidentally. Now now... I know what some of you may be thinking. I have been skeptical about ghosts before too. But this activity was actually quite profound, and was co-oberated by my friend Luna, who is a native Shaman. The details of this, can be found in the post "Paranormal Stuff".
November thru January was also a stressful time, as both Sable and I were dealing with some medical issues, but we got through it very well, and I believe our bond together has proven to be stronger because of those stormy months. It was sure a trial.
Speaking of Trial, Sable was my submissive, and for a while we were having some success tinkering with the dynamics of a D/s relationship. However when problems began to arise and contracts and guidelines for behaviour began appearing, the rifts began to develop. The issue was almost always due to alcohol and irrational behaviour caused by it.
